Salute 2019 Part4

Arcworlde stand was quite busy with the 2nd edition set and some really outstanding looking dragons.
I have followed this project from the start and its great to see them grow every year. Quality!!

Crooked Dice was extremely busy, there was so many miniatures on this stand from all sorts of popular influences, pulp, post apoc, fun you name it… even some of my own sculpts :)

The tentacled one eyed monster I did years ago is now part of Crooked dice catalogue.

My giant ant queen was also there and ready to invade any post apoc battlefield. Quite happy to see it fully painted.

Was selling well too this was around the morning and only a couple blisters left.

Next stand did got me by surprise, Creature caster has always been quite present online by I never really seen these before in the flesh… wow they are more impressive than I anticipated, the scale and detail was unbelievable. Respect.

Salute 2019 Part3

Warlord games is always a stand to check out, plenty of games and new releases for everyone. This year Konfikt'47 had some nice minis on display, I really liked the scifi samurai ones.

Wild West Exodus had a big stand with a couple tables and some great looking miniatures, cannot fault them for the overall design, they clearly bring in their A game every salute. Quite enjoyable place to hang out.

Zinge Indutries is one of those must go places for anyone that likes conversions and add the extra bit here and there to their miniatures, always loads to pick up and some clever ideas. I got some flexible resin cables for a great price and for sure will add them to my 40k things.

Salute 2019 Part2

Salute's mornings are typically very busy with an avalanche of people trying to find the best deals, if you want to buy something popular make sure you do your plan before the event. Check the trader stand number on the map and head there on arrival asap. Not as easy as it sounds because with hundreds of stands and thousands of new shiny miniatures on display its hard to keep focused.

I kind of managed to do that and got some sweet deals and freebies, but more on that later.

One of the stands that had like some of the best deals ever was Macrocosm. I read on Facebook that they had some grab bags with older ranges at heavy discount… I got a full war band of metal halflings that retails around between 30 and 40gbp for a fiver!

Macrocosm was showing their awesome game Bonefields, the idea of having undead dwarfs and goblins little skellies everywhere on the battlefield is a surprisingly fun concept and I almost pulled the trigger. Kudos for the fellas on the stand they were some of the funniest and friendly around the show.

A small stand near the entrance had a couple games that do have potential. I have been covering DEVILS RUN for some Salutes now and this year they had plenty of post apoc cars.

The new game was Armoured Digital, a drone skirmish combat set, the box set looked quite nice and I was lucky enough to have a free Rulebook, for sure I will check it out later on.
