Road to Salute 2016 Report.

Hi guys, Salute will open doors in a few hours and I have all packed and ready for another awesome day of madness.
As usual I will try to do a photo report of the event so I have my old camera ready for some heavy duty.
Funny enough Beasts of war report page has pictures from the companies setting up their stands today and I managed to find one with our friendly Rock giant there too. Brilliant.

This year I have no plans to buy stuff  apart from some modeling supplies so I will have more time to cover the stands and minis. I'm curious about some recent releases and companies so I will look closely into that.

Rock Giant official Paintjob

Otherworld miniatures just released official painted pictures of the Rock Giant that I sculpted a few months back, its going to be cast in resin.

I like the colours they used on this miniature.

War Snail Weekend

Both Snails are finished and you can see Snail 1 and Snail 2 in detail on the previous posts but there is a cool feature about these that I would like to mention.

I have build the shells to be interchangeable with both bodies, yes you heard it right this is a multipart kit that allows you to build not 1 or 2 but 4 different snails! I have a hard time to choose my favorite one!

Thats all for snails for now, its time to say this project is finished and it was a great challenge that allowed me to sculpt some of my favorite bugs. Yay. Lots more bugs to come.

The weekend just started and we are still recovering from Easter Chocolate overdose so its the perfect time to reveal War Snail 2.

This Snail is nasty, you would not like to step into one in the night. For this version I went all the way with crazy concepts, like stone shell and maggot mouth that will suck the live out of you.

Welcome all to the snail weekend!

I always loved snails, they are so alien in nature but I never really found some sculpted ones that I liked. Time to change that, got my hands on some greenstuff and fleshed out a couple of them.

I did not want them to look just realistic so I added some little fantastic details to make them more interesting.  The first one is just a shy fantasy departure from a real snail.

Giant rebased for AoS

Hi all and Happy Easter!

Finally got some time off so I rebased my giant. Its slowly getting there... all these new bases do take time to get them right.

Age of Sigmar rebasing Savage orcs

Howdy folks,

Time to revisit some rebasing for AoS. I decided to give it a go with my savage orcs. Previously they were just part of a big unit for WFB but now they will be split in two units of 16 and each one with the big stabba.
These fellas will be the 2 ccw variants but the following unit will have spear and shield.

I rather prefer the look of these on circular bases since you can see the individual conversions much better now.
