BEETLE RIDER 2

Good morning Orktober Sunday!
The 2nd Beetle Rider is now complete and ready for the paintbrush. As previous ones this model is based on the Rhino beetle kit sculpted some time ago and with some extra add ons such as saddle and orky equipment for a more detailed miniature. Time consuming project but well worth it. Only one more rider to go and the King Crusher elite bodyguard is almost done. Will upload the 3rd one soon.

BEETLE RIDER 1

October is one of those crazy months with too many challenges and not enough time for them… Failed Inktober but just going for one Orktober weekend instead! So After I finished my Orc warlord mounted on a giant rhino beetle its time to sculpt his personal orc bodyguard. These smaller Beetle riders will stand as goregruntas with their new extravagant rides. I was never a big fan of the boars so I used the rhino beetle multipart kid that I sculpted some time ago and just gave them some saddles and gear. This is the first of the 3.

Orktober Ironjawz army

Welcome to Orktober! My Ironjawz army is complete now modelwise and ready for painting. Here's some pictures of these bad boys.

The King Crusher

Time for personal projects is a luxury I struggle to find. But after months of planning and sculpting a few minutes here and there I managed to do something.

So it all started with the Giant Rhino beetle I sculpted last year for a client… I really wanted to spice it up for my IronJawz army, and since the official cabbage dragon was not to my taste I decided to do my own bug themed Mawcrusher.

The King Crusher was born.

Got some casts of my Beetle then I doodled some concepts for the saddle, gear etc. Sculpted them and shazam just converted and added an official Orruk warlord as the rider. Project complete and yes I know its way to much effort for just one model but hey! apart from the warlord I sculpted it all!… there is no better general for my army…

Mutant Ant

With the HOT weather in the UK it's only natural that ants come out for a bit of sunshine. This one just crawled out from my sculpting table.
The Mutant Ant miniature was sculpted for 7TV: Apocalypse out in October and I confess that it was fun to give a fantasy twist to an Ant.

Tikki Trolls riders on Horned Spiders

Just a quick picture from the Tikki troll spider riders. They look quite natural on top of the Horned Arachnids…perfect match.
