Blood Bowels Team

Hello folks following my Bloodbowl dive I decided to create a little chaos team to play with some friends. So after much planning and thinking ( 7 nurgle minutes ) the most stinky team ever to appear on a Bloodbowl field was born... I introduce you the

BLOOD BOWELS

To start up I went and did some shopping, here is what I got to kick start the fat lads.

And some wip pics of my first 3 rotters!

More to join in the team on the background...

On a related note I forgot to upload some more bases I did for the secret weapon... its the same theme but this time on lipped warmachine style of bases...

18 more things to add to my 2012 sculpting goal...

Creeping infection base set

Last week Secret Weapon miniatures released a new set of bases with a very bug theme... Creeping Infection!

I had the pleasure to sculpt these disgusting bases and infest them with hundreds of little worms and maggots and all kind of nasty things in a field of strange fungus and rotting flesh sand... Overkill I know but it was really fun thing to sculpt...

Funny enough with these bases I achieved my goal for sculpting in 2012... I managed to sculpt 100 Pieces Muhahahaha... Whats next?

Foo fighters heads and mini ramblings

Oi! Long time no post folks but fear not the bug man has been sculpting gribbly things on his humid secretive UK nest.
Lots of things happened since my last post here so I have no idea where to start... from the begining seems like a good idea lol...

- Due to time constrains on my real life job I canceled lots of sculpting projects that was on my table, no more space dinos (chuhuac) in 15mm for Loud ninja games is one of the casualties... sorry folks, no way I can take more big projects atm so I will stick with just a few selected clients for now... in the future I hope to regain that extra time and return to the happy times sculpting for all the cool people and the cool projects they have. To all the people that I had to decline a big sorry and thanks for your understanding.

- I found a local bunker club with some freaky fellas so I'm the newest member of the chelmsford bunker... espect some bloodbowl funky stuff in a near future here.

- To hit next month secret weapon stores there is new range of bases, so if you like fat annelida you will be happy with them... Lots of cuddly bugs.

- Slowly sculpting more spaceship corridors for Fenris games.

- Slowly sculpting some figs for Fractured dimensions.

- Shopping spree... got some of the new GW plaguebearers DAMN NICE KIT! And more spaceships, this time ninja magic miniatures SWEET!

- Finished sculpting some heads for Battleroad games I called them foofighers. Tried to cover from small chimps, monkeys, gorilla and orangutan heads with a scifi twist...

- And also sculpted by mistake a set alien bases... I'm getting senile over here and messed up the theme! Oh well major fail!!!

It was also my Bday so I indulged myself with a big nice fat Saturday stuck at work!

Got to run and I will try to keep you guys posted about my greenstuffing but time is kinda short on buglands.
Cheers!

Corpses fields huge bases- 120mm and big oval

Huge amounts of time was spent sculpting these bases for the Corpses Fields Base sets, soon to be released by Secret Weapon Miniatures. I hope they are useful for your bigger models or who knows a starting point for a nice diorama.

BIG OVAL

120mm

Scale picture next to one 25mm base on the bellow right corner

These take the title as the most complex, time consuming and greenstuff intensive bases I ever sculpted to this day.

Busy bee and new RPG Apocalypse World

Busy week sculpting 4 new projects simultaneously and they are planned to be completed this month, here's a rundown of whats on the table:

- Harook miniatures for Mad Robot Miniatures
- RPG big monster for Fractured Dimensions
- Huge bases of corpses fields for Secret Weapon Miniatures
- Another small 15mm diorama for myself with one super rare vintage miniature that was offered to me from my new friends old school collections.

Soon some pics.

Uffff, lots of stuff and I have more cool projects coming in, LOVE IT!

I also discovered something really special when dusting those really old White dwarfs mags... The cult is back and I'm brainstorming some new freaky projects for them, more about it on a future post.

And to close another epic week of strange hobby things, last night I was introduced to a new role-play game and we had a session over here with friends... I didn't play RPG's for something like 20 years?  But damn this setting is really addictive and the characters are awesome I picked up a Scavvyhead and I will terrorise every session with post apoc gadgets! This is really damn funny and it's pumping my creative juices . Check it out guys you will not regret it!

APOCALYPSE WORLD

Oh its for the more adult players outhere.
Have fun!

More Corpses Fields bases

Following the previous set of Corpses Field Bases for Secret weapon Miniatures I was commissioned the task of sculpting the same theme but this time for those nice edged Privateer press type of bases.

Sculpted 4x 50mm, 5x 40mm and 10x 30mm, totalling 19 new Corpses Fields bases for the games that use them. Plenty of those today like Malifaux, Warmachine, Hordes, Mercs, Dark age, etc...

Sorry for the darkish pictures but I'm struggling with the new settings to take photos since all my lamp lights did not travel with me.

So, I'm I done with all these corpses visceral things? Nope! Still more to come...

Corpses fields bases set

Wow! If anyone says to me that sculpting bases is a piece of cake then I would like to direct them for the New bases for Secret Weapon Miniatures... I finished and shipped them to Justin just before I travelled to the UK. I mean, these are far from easy to sculpt and took me lots of time.

Justin approached me with the idea to create some bases filled with corpses and that the main theme should be visceral corpses, cool! He also wanted these to be done on his new bases with a hollow blank so that clients can paint these corpses and guts and still fill them in with water effects or blood gory stuff, Loved that option.

So I sculpted lots of bodies and intestines, fat zombies, rotting skulls, body parts, brains, some freaky muddy floor texture etc... Looking at all the parts I did I think I could have done literally a considerable number of full 28mm's.

So here you have it, my most complex bases to date yet I tried to keep a good surface for people to place their models in ( I do dislike those companies that make bases with so much stuff in it that you don't even have the space to put your minis in, its nuts)...

CORPSES FIELDS bases set

More new sets coming up in a near future.
With all these zombie things I do miss to watch The Walking Dead series!

PS- My sculpting gear arrived muhahahaha soon more sculpting from me.

New base set for Secret Weapon Miniatures

Secret Weapon Miniatures will have in January of 2012 some new bases sets that I had the pleasure to sculpt. Following the alien theme I sculpted lots of living things on top the space deck bases that Justin sent me.
Eggs, bugs, face buggers, tentacled alien nastiness, its all there. I think these are cool for Space hulk environments.

More bases are planned for Secret Weapons Miniatures but this time with a different theme.

New Alien Bases for Secret Weapon Miniatures

For the past year I have been sculpting bases for Secret Weapon Miniatures and these are the new ones that I just finished and that I will ship to Justin this week since he approved them.

The theme this time was 100% Alien bases and before these I have done 2 sets that are already for sale at Secret weapon Online store... later this month I will post them also here on my blog under flashback projects and things I have developed before I opened the blog.

With a theme so fun like this I had a blast filling these bases with crazy alien / gigerish things and never forgetting these bases should be flat so that people have zero hassle when basing their miniatures, so even if super detailed these bases are mostly flat or have big flat areas.
Hope you like them.

10x 25mm bases

5x 40mm bases

2x 60mm bases

1x Big Oval 120x90mm base

And the base set group picture

The one I enjoyed sculpting the most was the big oval since it looks like a huge swirl of deadly tentacled chitin and with a big queen alien egg, hope to paint some for my collections as soon as Justin casts some.

If you don't know Secret weapon site here's the link

You can also follow their official Blog on the my blog list menu.

If you liked my previous alien bases and these you will be glad to know that more alien things are planned for me to sculpt for Secret Weapon Miniatures.
